At The Academy Childcare and Preschool, our curriculum involves a Child-Centered and Holistic Approach to providing education to our young learners.
Our teachers and staff are guided by the Nia Curriculum written and designed by our owner Teramena L. Oliver M.Ed. who is a world renowned educator. With this advanced curriculum, we assure parents that students will be prepared for Kindergarten and progressively for higher school years.
In fact, the last 20 years, our students have academically out-performed their peers. We pride ourselves on our stable teaching staff and their dedication to education. To continually motivate our students and prepare them for advanced academic years, our teachers develop age-appropriate activities that introduce and strengthen academic and social skills.
In addition to the ‘basics’, we offer extra activities which include Spanish and Music Classes as well as Gymnastics and Taekwondo classes 3-5 years old.
